Connie’s Pizza Brand Overview

Back in 1963, Jim Stolfe’s Oldsmobile Starfire was exchanged for a small storefront pizzeria on 26th Street on Chicago’s South Side.  That storefront became the original home of Connie’s Pizza, Chicago’s most famous pizza.  Today, the Stolfe family is still hard at work creating new ways to combine ingredients and toppings.  They are always striving for better ways to serve Connie’s Pizza to our guests.  This dedication and drive has resulted in decades of perfecting everything from our unique dough to the heated delivery trucks that bring piping hot Connie’s Pizza right to your door. 

Over the last 45 years, our team has built the Connie’s Pizza brand into an experience synonymous with quality and service.  From the official pizza of the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks, the Chicago Fire, and The Taste of Chicago, to having its pizza sold at Subway restaurants and both Disney parks, Connie’s Pizza is a Chicago brand that continues to grow.  You can find the brand at eight Chicagoland restaurants, retail grocery stores in five states, 1200 Sodexho-managed hospital accounts, and several national theatre chains just to start.  We have developed long-term relationships with many of the best-known foodservice operators including Levy Restaurants and Chicago Restaurant Partners, Marriott Hotels and Foodservice, Sheraton Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Sportservice/Delaware North, Eurest (Compass) Services, and the University of Chicago.  With many other prominent partners, the Connie’s Pizza brand has become a Chicago Tradition.

Our restaurants have become an icon for visitors to Chicago, as we have a restaurant at the City’s most-visited venue, Navy Pier, and Chicago’s convention center, McCormick Place.  In addition you can find our brand at full-service restaurants in Chicago (Bridgeport), Westmont, Naperville, and Orland Park, and fast-casual Pazzini restaurants in Algonquin and the Merchandise Mart.

We have earned our reputation by winning media selection events, such as those hosted by NBC5, America Online, and Chicago magazine, being a part of the Food Network’s most requested show, and as the top-selling pizza at The Taste of Chicago for 10 out of our 11 years of participation.  And most gratifying is our notoriety of being the only thing that Chicago Cubs and White Sox fans can agree to!!     

Of course, our pizza is the key to our success.  Our proprietary ingredients include our specially formulated mozzarella cheese, secret sprinkle, pizza sauce, sausage, all-natural pepperoni and a few other special items.  They have been developed as components of a pizza engineered to be the absolute best pizza.  Whether immediately served to our dining room guests, delivered to our corporate or residential clientele after spending a half an hour in transit on our custom designed delivery trucks, or by the slice after sitting on display for widely varying times, our pizza provides the highest quality on the most consistent basis
